LONG DISTANCE - BIG BUSH FOREST

The slopes of Big Bush Forest will be a unique experience.  The native beech forest will be in places open and fast but with patches of dense vegetation.  The slopes are influenced by the glacial action which shaped this area with random rocks and cliffs scattered over the slope.  The mapping is to be completed by Nick Hahn and will be a different challenge to the other areas of the Rotoiti Project.

Planner: Michael Croxford (NOC)
Controller: Russell Higham (RK)
